Why was it recalled?
Evenflo Company, Inc. (Evenflo) is recalling certain Revolve180 Litemax NXT child seats manufactured through March 31, 2025. Please refer to Evenflo's recall report for the specific models and production dates. Due to a miscalibrated level indicator, following the installation instructions can result in a child sitting more upright than intended. As such, these child seats fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 213, "Child Restraint Systems."
Consequence
A child seat that is not reclined as intended increases the risk of injury in a crash.
What should you do?
The remedy for this recall is currently under development. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, are expected to be mailed beginning September 1, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the remedy is available, anticipated November 2026. Owners may contact Evenflo customer service at 1-800-233-5921.
