Why was it recalled?
TriMark Corporation (TriMark) is recalling certain door latches, part numbers 19233-01 (0534-EE3-001) and 19232-01 (0557-EE3-001), installed on Spartan Fire vehicles. The actuator lever arm in the cab door latch may bind or become wedged, preventing the door from opening.
Consequence
A door that cannot be opened may trap occupants inside the vehicle, increasing the risk of injury.
What should you do?
TriMark will work with Spartan Fire to replace the door latches, free of charge. Spartan Fire will notify affected vehicle owners. Owners may contact TriMark customer service at 1-800-447-0343.
