Why was it recalled?

A2ZEV (A2Z) is recalling certain NACS to CCS1 Original Typhoon/Slider Lock Charger Adapters, with part numbers NC1V10124DC and NC1V10224DC-ILW. The locking mechanism on the adapter may become damaged and come loose from the NACS connector, which can cause the charger to overheat.

Consequence

An overheating charger increases the risk of personal injury to the operator.

What should you do?

A2Z will replace the Version 1 NACS to CCS1 adapter with the Version 2 adapter, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 27, 2024. Owners may contact A2Z customer service at Safety@a2zevshop.com.
